Rally
For a brighter future where finding inspiration leads somewhere beyond the screen.
Project Overview
Creative work often begins with a place. A road you have never taken. A ridge at the right hour. A warehouse full of texture. A corner of your own city you somehow missed. But finding those places is still surprisingly fragmented, buried across social saves, map pins, screenshots, blogs, group chats, and recommendations that disappear as quickly as they arrive. Rally is a Truesight venture built around the idea that discovery should lead to action.
It combines a map-first location experience with curated Spot Guides, saved places, creator discovery, events, and lightweight meetups designed specifically for photographers, filmmakers, and visual storytellers. The product is less interested in building another social network than in helping people close the app. Find the spot. Find your people. Get out and make something.

The Gap
Creators already have endless places to see photographs. What they have far fewer of are tools that help answer the next question: Where was that, what should I know before I go, and is anyone else interested in making something there?
Location discovery is spread across products that were never designed around creative intent. Maps understand geography but not why a photographer would care about a location. Social platforms understand images but provide little structure for turning inspiration into a shoot. Community tools can connect people but rarely begin with the place itself.
Rally sits between those behaviors. The challenge was to connect discovery, planning, and community without turning the experience into another feed competing for attention—and to do it while respecting the privacy of both creators and sensitive locations.

The Results
Rally has evolved from a broad idea about creative community into a focused product built around a clear sequence: discover a place, understand it, save it, and decide whether to go alone or bring people with you.
That focus established an MVP with a manageable first-release scope while creating a larger system capable of growing into new regions, richer Spot Guides, events, collaboration, and creator-led discovery.
For the case study, Rally demonstrates how a product can combine map-based UX, social interaction, privacy decisions, content architecture, and community design without allowing the feature set to overwhelm the reason the product exists: getting creators out into the world.
