For those that don't know me, I grew up in Butte, Montana — a small mining town in the heart of the Rockies, built on grit, hard work, and the promise of a better future.
By the time I was born, the city’s main source of jobs had already closed. The biggest mine and job creator shut down in 1982, and when it did, it took more than jobs with it. It took certainty. It took momentum. It left families wondering what came next.
The mine reopened in 2002, but I will never forget what it felt like to grow up in the years between. Families struggling. Friends moving away. People I cared about facing an uncertain future, not because they lacked talent, drive, or dignity, but because there simply were not enough opportunities to go around.
That experience stayed with me.
It shaped the way I see work, business, design, and entrepreneurship. It gave me a deep responsibility to help change that narrative where I could — to support job creators, founders, innovators, and organizations building a better future here in Montana and beyond.
I have always been drawn to startup culture: the energy of building something from nothing, turning ideas into brands, helping businesses find their voice, and giving shape to something that did not exist before.
Over the years, that calling has only become clearer. I have had the opportunity to lead brand, design, and communication efforts inside high-growth companies, including publicly traded startup environments navigating major transformation.
That work deepened my belief that Montana is full of founders, leaders, churches, nonprofits, and businesses with world-class vision. Many of them don't need more talent. They need the right support, strategy, systems, and creative partnership to help their vision move forward.
That's why Truesight exists.
Our mark — a beaming asterisk over a mountain — represents vision.
It is about seeing beyond the horizon and believing in a better future.
It represents the ability to look at a place, a person, a product, a company, or a community and see more than what is currently visible.
Truesight is not just a design agency. It is a commitment.
A commitment to create opportunity.
A commitment to cultivate meaningful work.
A commitment to help visionary leaders launch digital experiences that advance their vision of a better future.
This work is about more than logos, websites, products, or campaigns. It's about helping people build what should exist next.
For Montana.
For founders.
For communities.
For organizations carrying work that matters.
Let's build together.
