Overview
Remove the small breaks in a journey
A new inquiry can arrive in one app, wait for a person to copy it into another, and lose its context along the way. Zapier connects applications through automated workflows. It is useful when the team knows what event should start the process, what information needs to move, and what should happen when the expected data is missing.
We start with the customer or staff problem behind the repetitive work. Automation should shorten a handoff and make responsibility clearer, not quietly create records no one checks.
What We Do With it
Triggers, records, and notifications
We can map a workflow, connect the relevant apps, define triggers and actions, and set up the fields that must pass between them. We pay attention to duplicates, timing, ownership, and whether the receiving system has enough context for someone to act. When a process needs a human decision, we design the notification or review point into the flow. We document each connection so the team knows what it does and who can change it.
How We Use It
Follow the exception as well as the happy path
We test a normal submission, an incomplete one, and a repeat event. We verify that the right record is created or updated and that staff can see when a run fails. A time saving is only real when the team can trust the result without checking every step by hand.
Once the first workflow is dependable, we look for the next meaningful handoff. The goal is a small, understandable network of automations that helps the business deliver consistently.
