Overview
Stop rebuilding the context
As an organization grows, useful knowledge spreads across files, messages, tickets, and team spaces. A person may know that an answer exists but not where to find the current version. Glean connects enterprise search and AI assistance to workplace information. We consider it when the problem is finding and using trusted context across systems, especially for teams with many sources.
A search result should lead back to the people and records that own it. The work is to make source quality, access, and follow-up clear so employees can use an answer with confidence.
What We Do With it
Knowledge paths and ownership
We can map the questions teams ask most often, identify the systems that hold the answers, and plan how search and AI assistance fit their daily work. We clarify which documents are authoritative, who maintains them, and where permissions must be respected. We also distinguish a direct answer from a draft that needs an owner to interpret or approve. The tool works best when the organization has an intentional way to keep important knowledge current.
How We Use It
Test a question across systems
We choose a real task, such as finding the latest product policy and the reason it changed. We follow the result to its source, check whether the intended employee can access it, and see whether they know what to do next. We note duplicate or outdated materials and correct the underlying information path.
The goal is a shorter route to a trustworthy answer. Glean can reveal and connect knowledge, while the organization remains responsible for what that knowledge says.
