Overview
Work with the site that already exists
An organization may have years of useful content in WordPress and a patchwork of themes, plugins, and custom fixes holding it together. Replacing the homepage without understanding those dependencies can make the next update harder. WordPress is flexible, but that flexibility needs a deliberate plan for editing, maintenance, and ownership.
We start by understanding the existing site and the people responsible for it. Some projects call for a focused repair; others call for a content and design rebuild or a migration. The choice should follow the organization's needs and technical reality.
What We Do With it
A clearer site and a maintainable setup
We can audit page structure, templates, content types, plugins, forms, and performance; design new page systems; and improve the way editors publish. We identify what is essential, what overlaps, and which custom behavior deserves documentation. For a migration, we map URLs and content before rebuilding so valuable material is not lost between platforms. The goal is a site that staff can update without depending on a fragile chain of workarounds.
How We Use It
Inspect the dependencies before rebuilding
We review representative pages and common editor tasks, then plan changes in a staging environment. We test the pages with real content, check mobile behavior and accessibility, and work through forms, redirects, permissions, and publishing before launch. A plugin or template change is not complete simply because the page still looks right.
We leave clear notes on the system and its ongoing responsibilities. WordPress can serve a team well when the architecture is understood and the maintenance burden has an owner.
