Overview
Test a decision worth making
A team can argue for weeks about a headline or a form. An experiment can move that conversation forward when the alternatives express a real difference and the site has enough relevant traffic to evaluate it. Optimizely Web Experimentation helps compare experiences, but the tool cannot make a weak hypothesis meaningful.
We begin with observed friction and a decision the organization needs to make. The test might change how a service is explained, where evidence appears, or how a visitor enters a contact flow. A result should help the team understand its audience, not just declare a winner.
What We Do With it
From evidence to a testable idea
We review the existing journey, frame a hypothesis, design and write meaningful variants, define the primary outcome, and prepare the experiment for launch. We also consider guardrails such as lead quality or a downstream step that a simple click metric might miss. When traffic is too low for a credible test, we recommend research or a direct improvement instead of dressing a guess up as statistical proof.
How We Use It
Quality check the experiment before the result
We inspect targeting, variation behavior, metrics, and page performance across devices before release. The control and variant should be understandable to the same audience, and the tracked outcome should match the business question. We document when the test began and any changes made while it was running.
After enough data has accumulated, we read the result in context and look for tradeoffs beyond the primary metric. The strongest outcome is often a clearer understanding of what a customer needed from the page.
