Overview
Let customer behavior inform the message
An ecommerce store knows when someone viewed a product, began checkout, or came back for a second order. Klaviyo can turn those moments into useful communication. It can also become a machine for sending too many reminders if every possible trigger is switched on without considering the customer.
We treat each flow as part of a broader store experience. A welcome message should orient a new subscriber. A checkout reminder should help someone finish a decision. A post-purchase message should respect the fact that the purchase already happened.
What We Do With it
Flows that fit the buying journey
We plan welcome, abandoned checkout, post-purchase, and retention journeys; create email and SMS templates; and organize segments around meaningful purchase behavior. We can also align campaign creative with the store's product pages and brand system, so the messages feel connected to the experience that earned the signup. The priority is a clear sequence with a purpose, not the largest possible number of automations.
How We Use It
Check the trigger and the timing
We review store events, consent, and existing messages before building. Then we test what happens when a customer starts checkout, completes an order, returns to the site, or qualifies for more than one flow. Suppression rules and timing matter as much as the email design.
We read performance with the store team and revise messages that produce clicks without satisfaction or sales without a healthy customer relationship. The goal is a system that feels helpful from the other side of the inbox.
