Overview
The surface tells part of the story
A 3D model can have accurate proportions and still feel generic if every surface responds to light the same way. The finish of a metal part, the weave of a fabric, or the wear on a tool can help a customer understand quality and use. Adobe Substance 3D gives us tools for developing those material qualities.
We decide which details are important to the product's identity or function. A visualization for an early concept may need restraint and clear labeling; a launch asset may call for a more complete treatment. The level of realism should fit what is known.
What We Do With it
Materials for a believable visual system
We can create and refine textures, material treatments, and product scenes for renders, films, or interactive experiences. We establish consistent surface behavior across views so a product does not change character from one image to the next. When specifications are available, we work from real references and confirm critical details with the client. When they are not, we keep concept imagery from implying features or finishes that have not been decided.
How We Use It
Review the object in its destination
We begin with product references and the views the audience needs. We test materials under representative lighting, then review the object at the size it will appear on a page, in a presentation, or in a film. Fine detail should support the larger impression rather than consume production time where no one will see it.
We prepare materials and renders for the broader creative workflow. The final image should help someone picture the product with greater confidence and an honest understanding of its stage.
