For a brighter future where businesses can move money through technology built to be clear, scalable, and dependable.

Project Overview
Clever Pay is representative work based on confidential product experience completed by Garrhet Sampson while employed within a publicly traded fintech company. It is not a Truesight client engagement. The case study represents work across payments branding, design systems, product UX, marketing websites, MVP development, and product demonstrations. The brand name, visual presentation, and selected product details have been adapted to honor an active NDA while preserving the scope and design problems behind the work.

The Gap
Payment processing is largely invisible when it works and immediately consequential when it does not. The underlying platform needed to support credit, debit, and ACH payments at significant scale while giving customers an experience they could understand and trust.
At the same time, the product was being developed from the ground up. There was no mature visual language, UX framework, design system, marketing experience, or established set of product demonstrations to explain how the platform worked.
The opportunity was to build those foundations together: translating complex payment infrastructure into a clear brand, usable interface system, compelling product story, and launch-ready customer experience.
The System
The work established foundational UX/UI standards for the payments platform, creating reusable patterns across financial workflows, dashboards, payment experiences, and customer-facing interfaces.
That product system was supported by a broader brand and marketing environment designed to explain technically complex infrastructure in more approachable terms. Website experiences, product demonstrations, and executive-facing materials connected the underlying technology to clear customer benefits.
MVP flows and product demonstrations helped move the platform from concept toward commercial use while giving engineering, leadership, sales teams, and prospective customers a shared representation of how the experience should work.

The Work
The resulting system connected infrastructure, interface, and communication around the same product experience. Website, product UX, demonstrations, and brand were treated as different expressions of the same underlying platform rather than unrelated deliverables.
The Clever Pay identity exists specifically to present this work without exposing protected commercial information. Its brand and interface details have been adapted, but the responsibilities, product challenges, design thinking, and underlying scale represented by the case study are based on real work.
Additional original materials can be shared where confidentiality agreements permit.
The Results
The underlying payments platform moved from foundational development into live commercial use, supporting customers with significant transaction volume.
The design work helped establish the UX, product demonstrations, visual standards, and customer-facing systems required to communicate and launch a platform supporting credit, debit, and ACH transactions.

By The Numbers
